Orders & Bookings

• All orders must be submitted via the official booking form.
• An order is only confirmed once your booking has been accepted and the required deposit has been paid. The deposit must be paid within 72 hours
• Dates are not held without payment

Cancellations & Refunds

• Deposits are strictly non-refundable.
• Cancellations made after booking may result in partial or full loss of payment depending on how close the order is to the due date.
• Unfortunately, refunds cannot be provided for cancellations made within this period.
• Refunds will not be provided if the cake has been consumed; the cake must be returned to the store, so I am able to assess the cake.
• Refunds will not be provided for cakes that did not provide the exact decorations requested, decorations are bought from suppliers who will not have every decoration available at all times. Decorations are based on availability.
• Refunds will only be considered where the final product does not meet the confirmed order specifications (for example: incorrect flavour, incorrect size or a significant deviation from the agreed design brief, incorrect theme, does not include a significant design element).
• As custom cakes are hand crafted and subject to creative interpretation, variations from inspiration images, reference photos, website photos, colours, textures, and decorative elements do not constitute grounds for a refund.

AI-Generated Inspiration Images

Where a client provides an AI-generated image as inspiration for their cake design, the image will be treated as conceptual inspiration only and not as an exact or guaranteed representation of the final cake.

AI-generated images may contain unrealistic, technically impossible, or highly stylised elements that cannot be accurately replicated using real cake-decorating techniques and materials. The final design may therefore differ in appearance, proportions, detailing, colours, textures, or other elements from the AI-generated reference.

By submitting an AI-generated image as inspiration, the client acknowledges that minor or substantial variations may be necessary to create a realistic, structurally sound and achievable cake design.

Complaints, dissatisfaction or refund requests based solely on differences between the completed cake and an AI-generated inspiration image will not be accepted where the cake has been produced in accordance with the agreed design, consultation and/or written description.

How to report an issue:

Please contact me immediately, within 24 hours. The cake must also be returned. Refunds will not be issued if the cake has been consumed.

Refunds will not be provided for:

• Change of mind
• Late design changes
• Dissatisfaction with the final product where it aligns with the agreed design and brief
• If there is an issue with your order, you must contact us within 24 hours of collection/delivery so the matter can be assessed and resolved where appropriate.
• Where applicable, resolutions may include a partial refund, credit, or replacement at our discretion.

Payments

• A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your order.
• The remaining balance must be paid in full one week prior to collection/delivery
• Failure to complete payment by the due date may result in cancellation of your order.

Custom Design

• All cakes are custom designed based on your selected theme, inspiration, and details provided.
• While I will use your inspiration as a guide, exact replicas are not guaranteed.
• Some creative freedom is required to ensure the best final result
  

Design Changes

• Any major design changes (e.g. theme, colours, size, structure, or overall concept) require:
• A new booking form to be completed, and
• A minimum of 1 week’s notice prior to your collection date.
• Minor changes (e.g. small wording updates, slight colour tweaks) require at least 3 days’ notice.
• Changes requested outside of these timeframes may not be accepted and are subject to availability.
• Additional charges may apply depending on the nature of the changes.

Allergies & Dietary Requirements

While every effort is made to minimise cross-contamination, With Love Bakery operates in a kitchen that handles common allergens including, but not limited to, dairy, eggs, gluten, soy and nuts. We cannot guarantee that any product is completely free from traces of these ingredients.

Clients are responsible for notifying With Love Bakery of any allergies or dietary requirements prior to placing an order.

9. Photography

With Love Bakery reserves the right to photograph completed products and use these images for marketing, promotional material, social media and portfolio purposes unless otherwise requested by the Client in writing prior to collection or delivery.

Collection & Responsibility

• Once the cake has been collected, responsibility is transferred to the customer.
• Care instructions will be provided and must be followed to maintain quality.
• Late Collection: Cakes are available for collection at the scheduled collection time. If you arrive late, this may impact my ability to accommodate your collection, particularly where another booking or appointment is scheduled. In the event of significant lateness, I reserve the right to leave the cake in a designated collection area outside the studio for you to collect, or, where this is not reasonably possible, cancel the collection with no refund or replacement provided. Every reasonable effort will be made to ensure you are still able to receive your cake.
  

Final Product

• Due to the handmade nature of custom cakes, slight variations may occur.
• By placing an order, you agree to these terms and accept the artistic nature of the final product.
